To celebrate the Royal Brunei Police Force’s (RBPF) 93rd Anniversary, a Police Day exhibition that highlights the functions, roles and responsibilities of the police force was held at the Airport Mall. RBPF invited BruCERT to partake in the exhibition for two days, April 24-25th, 2014.
BruCERT took the opportunity to increase public awareness of Internet safety and information security and highlight its role in Incident Response. During the two-day exhibition, BruCERT gave away Digibytes, parents’ guide books and awareness stickers.
On the second day of the exhibition, Haji Mas Zuraime Haji Abd Hamid, Head of BruCERT, also presented a talk on “Mengguna Internet Dengan Baik” (Using the Internet Wisely). The audience comprised members of Majlis Perundingan Kampong dan Mukim (Consultative Council of Village and Sub-District), trainees of Program Khidmat Bakti Negara (PKBN) and police cadets.
