These days, learning how to build a website is easy, with plenty of tools and resources available on the Internet. Usually a website developer will focus more on functionality and design of the website. The tricky part is to create a website with minimal to zero entry point for malicious attackers to gain control of the site. With the increasing level of awareness in network security, most online systems are up-to-date with the latest patches, making them somewhat secure against network-based attacks from malicious sources. Attackers are now moving on from network-based attacks to web-based attacks. This type of attack tends to be successful because most organisations have websites that are connected to their backend database.

//OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the Web Quest competition is to foster creativity and innovation in website development, providing an avenue for budding young web developers to showcase their skills, with an emphasis on security.
