At ITPSS, we believe that responsible business is good business. As a 100% local company, we want to invest in the community and market that had led to our business success. We hope for all our staff to get involved in giving back to the local community, and that our company will have a positive impact on the social and environmental wellbeing of our country.
ITPSS organized a CSR activity during the fasting month. All the staff was to prepare Iftar meals for donation to mosques. They were divided equally into 4 teams, and each team was required to cook a meal from scratch, consisting of at least 2 dishes (meat & vegetables) and the meals were delivered to 8 selected mosques.
This year ITPSS took a different approach to reach out to orphans. The company made cash donations to 60 orphans from 10 primary schools in Brunei-Muara and Tutong districts.
On the 11th of Ramadhan, the men of ITPSS took part in a cemetery-cleaning campaign, followed by tahlil, at Tanah Perkuburan Islam, Taigoi A, Kg Rimba.
ITPSS made a donation in the form of essential items to Youth Against Slavery (YAS Brunei) for their first Ehsan Ramadhan Project to share sadaqah with migrant workers of Brunei.
In the holy month of Ramadhan, people get involved in charity work to help others in need. ITPSS staff jumped on the bandwagon and donated used clothes, which were delivered to Masjid Madang and then distributed to families in need.
ITPSS organized a donation drive for 8 underprivileged families during Ramadhan. The staff of ITPSS were divided into 8 groups. The donations consist of both items in kind and cash contributions from the company as well as personal contributions from staff.
The company and employees of ITPSS made a financial donation for the “IFTAR4GAZA” organized by Wecare.bn. The funds were handed over to Wecare.bn to help purchase the iftar meals for Palestinians in Gaza during Ramadhan.
RTB organized a singing competition that was aimed to give opportunity for the local’s youth to showcase their singing talent. ITPSS supported the event by providing financial sponsorship.
Youth Against Slavery Brunei (YAS Brunei) hosted an event in conjunction with “Combating Trafficking in Persons conference”. The event was aimed to gather participants from different working sectors in Brunei and highlight the importance of working with those most likely to encounter trafficking victims. ITPSS sponsored the printing of t-shirts for the event.
ITPSS held its annual Hari Raya Celebration with Board of Directors, staff and invited special guests comprising of 7 children from YASKA and 10 orphans. They were presented with donations from the company and personal donations from employees. In addition, ITPSS also presented a contribution to the YASKA fund that was accepted by representatives from YASKA.
ITPSS organized a donation drive for 5 underprivileged families during Ramadhan. Volunteer staff from ITPSS were divided into 4 groups, with each group caring for one or two families. The teams paid a visit to each respective family to identify their needs prior to the handing over of donations. The donations consist of both in kind and cash contributions from the company as well as personal contributions from staff. The contributions included basic household necessities such as bags of rice, cooking oil, canned food and toiletries to name a few.
ITPSS made a financial donation to Priscilla Isabell Juanita, an 8 month old baby who needed to undergo a Revision Colostomy Operation.
ITPSS supported Sekolah Menengah Awang Semaun by financially supporting 8 students to represent their school and attend the ISB Borneo Global Issue Conference (BGIC) at ICC.
The company and employees had made a financial donation for the victims of the Rohingya. The donations were handed over to WeCare.bn.
Google Developers Group (GDG) Brunei organized a GDG DevFest 2017 event. The purpose of the 2 days event was to further develop the local community into application developments in Brunei Darussalam. ITPSS made a financial sponsorship to support the event and was given the opportunity to give a presentation during the event on ‘Let’s Talk Application Security’ and ‘Android Backdoor, Disassembly and Malicious Code Injection’ by our security experts.
Four Athletes from Brunei Busiido Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu went to Las Vegas to compete in the World Master Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship, the highest level of competition for BJJ athletes aged 30 years and above. ITPSS supported the team through financial sponsorship.
ITPSS made a donation to Nazatul Nazihah who has been hospitalized for almost 7 months. She has been diagnosed with epilepsy at a very young age. We hope to ease the burden of the family with the contribution from ITPSS.
The Psychiatrist Department of RIPAS Hospital organized a Hari Raya function for their patients, families and staffs. ITPSS supported the event through sponsorship of catering and refreshments and by attending the event.
The event was held on 20th July 2017 with a total of 50 students participating in the Khatam Al-Quran. ITPSS supported and sponsored in-kind to each of the participant.
Seven students from various schools in Brunei participated in the 2017 first Global Robotic Challenge, H20 FLOW in Washington DC, United States. The students were accompanied by 4 mentors from University Teknologi Brunei (UTB). ITPSS took part in supporting the team by providing financial sponsorship. A total of 163 countries took part in the competition and Brunei team managed to get number 113.

The company and employees had made a financial donation to the Fund for flood and landslide victims in Tutong. The donation was handed over to the Tutong District Office.
The company and employees had made a financial donation to the Fund for victims of Typhoon Haiyan, Philippines. The donation was handed over to the Community Development Department, Ministry of Culture Youth & Sports.
The Paediatric Occupational Therapy Unit of RIPAS Hospital organized the first Youth Camp for cancer survivors at the Health Promotion Centre in Brunei Darussalam. The purpose of the program is to provide fun and excitement for children with cancer by taking them on camps with organized recreational activities, thereby also providing respite for their families. ITPSS supported the event though sponsorship of the event. Two of our staff, Noorhayati and Hjh Zahlina, also kindly volunteered their time for 2 days by assisting with activities at the camp.
ITPSS held our annual Hari Raya celebration for our Board of Directors and staff, with special guests comprising 45 young orphans and two underprivileged families. They were presented with donations and goodie bags during the event. The donations consisted of contributions from the company in addition to personal contributions from directors and staff of ITPSS.
The Assisted Living Unit of RIPAS Hospital organised a Hari Raya open house gathering for the mental health patients who are living at Rumah Sinar Sejahtera in Kg Kiarong. ITPSS supported the event through sponsorship of catering and refreshments and by attending the event.
ITPSS distributed 150 hampers, goodie bags and green packets to Learning Ladders Society and SMARTER ASD Centre in anticipation of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. A group of 8 volunteers delivered the gifts and mingled with the students and staff of both centres.
The company and employees had made a financial donation for the victims of fire in Kg Sumbiling Long House, Temburong and Kg Saba Darat ‘A’. The donations were handed over to the Temburong District Office and Brunei-Muara District Office respectively.
ITPSS organised a cinema outing for the children and families of Yayasan Kanser Kanak-Kanak (YASKA) to watch Despicable Me 2 at The Mall Cineplex. 21 families and several hospital staff joined the movie outing, about 100 people in total. The guests were also treated to popcorn, soft drinks and goodie bags from ITPSS.
The company and staff provided assistance to a family in Bengkurong who were temporarily living at the Dewan Masyarakat Bengkurong due to their homeless situation and lack of income. A collection was set up, and the money was used to purchase household items, food and study materials for the family.
