A group of students from Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology made an educational visit today to IT Protective Security Services Sdn Bhd (ITPSS) as part of their studies in computing.

The group comprised of students from Higher National Diploma in Computer Studies and their lecturers Dennis Tanjusay and Ahmed Azaam. The focus of the visit was to gain some practical knowledge in network security, which would help the students in their assignments.

The visitors were introduced to the services offered by ITPSS and the company’s pivotal role as Brunei Computer Emergency Response Team (BruCERT) in dealing with computer‐related and internet‐related security incidents in Brunei Darussalam. This was followed by a briefing on network security and digital forensics services, including a demonstration of some of the tools used in by Digital Forensics Analysts. Lastly, the students were briefed on the exciting career and development opportunities available in ITPSS for local IT professionals.
