Cybersecurity gets boost with new services

The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications announced the implementation of cybersecurity services for the public and private sectors in Brunei Darussalam yesterday. These cybersecurity services are intended to promote awareness towards cybersecurity threats especially in safeguarding the critical information infrastructure (CII) in Brunei Darussalam; to improve response capabilities towards cyber incidents via effective crisis management and to improve legal enforcement capabilities in mitigating cyberthreats through National Digital Forensics Laboratory services.

These three services which will be implemented by the Information Technology Protective Security Services Bhd(ITPSS) are Cyberwatch Centre, National Cyber Incident Response Centre via Brunei Computer Emergency Response Team (BruCERT) and National Digital Forensics Laboratory.
